Terry Lim Sing Ghee is a law graduate of the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2013 and commenced his pupillage under the tutelage of Dato’ Ajit Singh Jessy of Messrs. Jessy & Associates, a boutique employment law firm and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2014.

Upon admission to the Malaysian Bar, he began his practice as an Advocate & Solicitor at Messrs Jessy & Associates where he gained vast experience in employment and industrial relations matters.

Subsequently, he left Messrs. Jessy & Associates and joined Messrs. Presgrave & Matthews in 2018 where he gained valuable experience in civil litigation matters, especially in terms of corporate and commercial litigation under the guidance of Ms Karin Lim and Mr A. Suppiah.

In September 2022, he realized that he wanted to start his own firm and focus on providing his best services. Hence, he founded this firm that provides the services that he has a passion for and excels in.

Terry advocates and advises in all matters in respect of employment and industrial relations law including, amongst other things, employment contract, collective agreement, trade dispute, domestic inquiry, voluntary/ mutual separation scheme, retrenchment exercise, dismissal of employees, occupational health and safety laws and employee misconduct.

Terry has extensive experience in civil litigation and has represented clients regularly at the Labour Court, Industrial Court and High Court in relation to employment-related matters as well as corporate dispute matters.  

In addition, Terry has also participated in several speaking engagements on employment laws.

Terry is an Accredited Mediator with the Malaysian Mediation Centre (under Malaysian Bar Council) and he has been the Trainer in a few of the Mediation training programmes conducted by the Malaysian Mediation Centre. He mediates in the area of employment and industrial relations law disputes.
